Therapeutic Disclosure
The full truth told, on purpose, with support
A structured, facilitated process for putting the full truth on the table, so the betrayed partner isn't discovering new pieces for years and the betraying partner isn't managing information one leak at a time.
Staggered discovery or trickle truth is its own trauma.
When the truth comes out in fragments, a piece today, a worse piece next month, the betrayed partner can never stabilize, because the ground keeps moving, the drops and the ripple from the drops keep coming. The involved partner stays trapped managing what to say, when, and how much. Nobody can heal from that.
A therapeutic disclosure is the alternative: a prepared, structured, telling of the truth, facilitated so couples have a foundation of transparency to build from.
I'm Kris Cristiano, LCSW, CSAT, and PACT trained. I don't run couples sessions where people come to unload on each other. If you want to yell, you can do that at home for free. I’m here to help couples build something new.
In my room, we build skills so you can talk differently, fight differently, and actually move forward. I'll always take the side of truth, safety, and accountability. I won't ask the hurt partner to minimize what happened, and I won't let the betraying partner dodge responsibility. That balance is the only place real repair happens.
I'll be direct with both of you. That's the point.
The Plan
Request a free 15-minute consultation
We’ll talk about what you're each looking for, why now, and what you're hoping for.
The disclosure and after
The disclosure happens in a structured, facilitated session, followed by the work of integrating it, so it becomes a foundation instead of another wound.
Prepare
Each partner prepares separately with support. The involved partner works toward a full, honest account. The betrayed partner clarifies what they need to know to heal, and prepares to hear it.

Free, 15 minutes. I'll ask what you're each looking for, why now, and what you're seeking, and we'll see if I'm the right fit.
-
No. My job isn't to push you toward or away from the relationship. I will actually never suggest divorce or staying. This is strictly to help you find clarity and start to heal so you can choose for yourself.
-
The combination of responses (intrusive thoughts, hypervigilance, anxiety/depression, difficulty trusting your own perception) that shows up after discovering sexual betrayal. It overlaps with PTSD, and it's very treatable.

Unfortunately, no. I can provide superbills for reimbursement at a client’s request.
-
This is what therapy is for. It’s to help you find the words to describe your experience. Words matter and finding those words can help you process and heal.

Both. Whichever you prefer
